Priestman is poetic and a realist with his lyrics

What can I say so good I bought a friend a copy and she also loves it . Modern and refreshing with a slight political edge ,even though I dont usually like political rhetoric in my songs this is done with humour and an understanding that comes with age . I do believe this album will lean more towards those of us in the middle part of lives as you are able to identify with some of the statements made such as "did I fight the punk wars for this " a realisation I believe from the singer/songwriter that all our youthfull angst and striding towards something different all leads us to the same place in the end ........ an extremely witty and feel good album though with some of the titles you would expect them to be more woefull.....
Cannot recommend highly enough ...but maybe its just my time of life.
Buy and enjoy the lyrics .
Fantastic songs

Hi, I heard Henry Priestman on the radio talking about how the CD came about and that he had not sung for many years just wrote songs for other people, and I heard "Grey is the new blonde" which made me buy the CD, every song is wonderful. I bought this CD and Elbow at the same time, both very different and both wonderful
