cant believe any rock fan or even fans of the darkness could listen to this bilge.as yngwie malmsteen or vinnie vincent will tell you, faster is not allways better.impossibly fast drums and guitars ( overdubs ! i didnt say that ) do not equate to good rock music.it sounds like a bunch of teens playing as fast as possible with no thought towards song structure, chords, riffs or melodies.absolutely dire.i thought with the long awaited demise of the darkness that comedy metal had past away.obviously not.
it's...alright.

Top 100 Music Reviewer
see, the thing about this band, is that they're so, so, so overrated. okay, they can play fast guitars. you can't argue that Herman Li is spectacular on the guitar. fair enough. but that doesn't mean that this album is the best power metal record. far from it. before buying this, check out Children of Bodom, Finntroll, Ensiferum, Blind Guardian and Edguy. they are better bands in total. Inhuman Rampage is quite a good album, but it's not very varied. it feels like one 50 minute song, rather than a few 7 minute ones. however, i would recommend buying this, just so you can say that you've heard more Dragonforce songs than "Through the Fire and the Flames." ask any DragonForce "fan" to name any other songs by them, and they will struggle.
Good but gets old

I bought this album after being a Powermetal fan since i was a kid, But having listening to it a few times it just gets repetative and boring and doesnt have the feel to it like when i first played it.
Children of Bodom have a much better beat and sound, would recommend them over Dragonforce anyday.
Got ot have it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd never heard of this group untill I played (and completed) Guitar Hero 3 on Xbox 360.
The first time I heard "Through The Fire And Flames" (WHILST FRANTICALLY TRYING TO PLAY IT!) I knew I had to buy the album. Although I mainly listen to rock (the good stuff from 70's and 80's, Led Zep etc) I'm not usually an avid listener of "thrash" style rock. This track alone made me buy the album because I know a good guitar solo when I here one! The rest of the album doesn't disapoint either. A must have!!!
Rampage all you like!

Id like to start off by saying the people who have said this bad are "bad"are inccorect! This band is one of the most underated and most talented band on the planet. People who say alot of this album is guitar solos's they're not lying but what they forget to say is that most of these solo's are mindblowing! So if you are into metal and quickfire skillfull guitar solo's then this album and band is for you forget what anyone alse says! Herman Lee will blow you away!
Mind Blowing!

In my opinion Inhuman Rampage is quite simply one of the best progressive metal albums i own and have ever heard. Many people see progressive/thrash metal as just a lot of guitar noise and senseless screaming because this is the way most new progressive metal bands are sounding. Dragonforce have perfectly captured the esscence of this genre. Every song carries its own unique sound, and the guitar solos performed by Herman Li on such tracks as "Through the fire and flames" and "Operation ground and pound" are out of this world. True the vocals can be described as sounding slightly 80's cheesy but ZP Theart has a fantastic vocal range and his voice perfectly compliments Herman Li's immense guitar work throughout the album. I can 100% honestly say i listen to this album every single day and never get bored with it and am VERY eagerly awaiting the release of their next album Sonic Firestorm. Dragonforce Rock!
Good But Bad

Dragonforce is a very talented band although all their songs sound the same, the guitar is like a huge solo throughout the whole album, so if you listen to the album at once you will never know when the next song starts since they all sound EXACTLY the same! and the keyboards sound like an 80s game music such as super Mario, I wouldn't recommend the album, if you like Progressive rock try out Dream Theater
Pure Class

First heard a song on a music channel and the guitar solos are out of this world. The lurics arent bad but not great and are more like a pop song, the solos are immense and worth hearing
