- After a five year break, Witchery are back! Since their inception in 1997, the band have released an EP and three albums, the last being 2001's "Symphony For The Devil", and have toured both the US and Europe with some of metal's leading names, including Emperor, Kreator and Moonspell. So why so quiet since 2001? The success of the members other bands sheds some light on this. Guitarist and founding member Jensen has been busy shredding all over the world with The Haunted, most notably at this year's US Ozzfest, where he shared a stage with fellow Witchery Sharlee D'Angelo, who's main band, Arch Enemy (and previously Mercyful Fate and Spiritual Beggars) Also Martin Axenrot, who you may have seen battering the drums on rising metal-stars Opeth's recent sold-out UK tour.
