Simply my album of the year so far. Sublime from start to finish. He may not have the voice of a top drawer lead vocalist but it doesnt detract from the beauty of the melodies, lyrics and quality of this album. I must admit I was sceptical he could put together a solo l.p of repute as you would have thought the songs he wrote would end up on an OCS or Weller l.p, I am sorry I doubted you Mr Cradock. Only problem is, how do you follow it up. Top top tunes, I cant stop playing it - car, ipod, at work, wherever - 10/10 !!!!!
I too, like the last reveiwer was sceptical about whether this would be any good or not, but don't hesitate to buy it, IT IS EXCELLENT!
My favourite track by a mile is Running Away, great lyrics and melody, but all tracks on here are very good, and it far exceded my expectations. It is quite simply a classic album, from a classic guitarist. Well Done Steve!
