For under £6, this is a bargain compilation and a car stereo regular for long and short trips. The Moshi Moshi artists are strange and eclectic and this CD showcases the variety of talent and eccentricity on the label.
This is an especially good choice if you have friends unsure about indie music or rock as the songs are poppy and highly likeable, and you'll be singing along in no time.
Don't skip through the CD, it is worth a full listen, especially colourful pranksters Architecture in Helsinki and scene faves Bloc Party. Without buying sixteen separate albums, this compilation allows the listener to appreciate the rich variety of bands and new sounds to be found on this rising label.
