The first release of this album on CD had an inferior sound quality then the original Decca recording on LP. With this digital remix the sound quality is almost like the original. I prefer the CD version above the SACD. Although SACD is bringing the voices more in front of the sound spectrum and adds more definition by focussing on the mid and higher frequencies, there's a loss in the lower frequencies. Therefore, the CD version is more in balance and comes near to the original recording. Justin Hayward did a great job by remixing this album. A must for the Moody fans and the sound purists.
