4.5 Young Grown Ups PorkyPrimechop | 23/04/2009 | See all PorkyPrimechop's reviews (9) No-one wants to get old after 21! Here's happening music from a young band that is big enough for anyone. Spangly guitars, cheeky, poignant vocals, dancing beats. This album is ripe with references to great music of the past but it's all so carefully assimilated and re-presented in their own punchy yet pretty way.Rhythmically and harmonically daring, this is beautifully crafted Pop that invites repeated listening yet keeps coming back fresh. It's light footed and accessible. I feel like I'm in at the start of something huge. This is their summer.
