 lnfectious metal...

l've been listening to this album for a couple of years now & it just gets better with each play, though initially a disappointment after the brilliant Comalies, the original release date of this album was delayed seveal months because of production problems & in my opinion were never resolved - the tracks have a similar overall sound & haven't been separately identified as with the previous album & Cristina's voice isn't exploited as well as before, suggesting this band desperately need a synpathetic producer, but this album does posess a lot of the old magic of LC, especially on the all Italian duet, Without Fear, their interpretation of the DEPECHE MODE classic, Enjoy the Silence, & To the Edge - an infectious metal masterwork that deserved to be a monster hit...

I don't own alot of Metal albums, but one of my friend's likes Lacuna Coil and has all their albums. So I thought I'd have a change from rap music and decided to buy this.

I thought it was great after listening to it with my favourite tunes being Our Truth, Within Me, What I See, Closer and the copy of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence.

Overall, the lead singer Cristina Scabbia is hot and so is this album. A great buy if you're looking for a good metal album.

After hearning a few tracks by this band i got karmacode and was deeply dissapointed couldnt get into this at all.Try nightwish or within temptation which to me are far better bands than lacuna coil..the one saving grace is enjoy the silence which as a cover is pretty good but the rest are really nothing special....

 Good Gothic Metal

Ok this is a good record for any Goth fan, it is melodic whilst still appealing to those desirous of metal as well (Like me).

"Closer" is awesome with excellent bass and vocals and guitars, it was made popular by the Guitar Hero 3 game. While the Depeche Mode cover of "Enjoy the silence" is also very nice.

Ultimately what you have here is a blend of Male / Female vocals in a metallic goth brew. I liked it.
