An amazing voice, but the album lacks variety

Anybody who watched the X Factor will know that this guy has a stunning voice. But equally they will know that he is capable of singing up tempo songs as well. Which means that it is something of a disappointment that this CD is just packed with ballads. That's not to say the quality isn't there. Beyond the singles, his version of All My Life is fantastic, and Somewhere Over The Rainbow is one of the best vocal performances you will ever hear. But you just can't help but feel that this album played it safe, when taking some risks could have made it a classic.
Must have pop
