From its outset, it screams single out to me and following the success of 'juggernauts', expect to be hearing it on the radios soon. The album follows a similar format to 'take to the skies' with an introductory song with a couple of what you might call interludes in between the chaos and brilliance of each song. The interludes are much stronger than 'take to the skies'. The words 'the lions are at the door/we ain't taking orders from snakes no more' are spoken among some relaxed synth and heavy bass.'Solidarity' and 'step up' begin with heavy lead synth, something to get the crowds going. There is screaming and dance and trance and techno and even jazz thrown in their for good measure. 'Hectic' is another personal favourite. There are weaknesses, the last song in particular is too political for my liking. I do not mind bands expressing their opinions on issues but perhaps the last song goes a bit too far. 'The jester' despite being a fan favourite seems weak on an album of much better songs.Overall however, the album still gets five out of five. The imagination and originality is staggering. Rou gives his mike skinner rapping a go, and also expands his voice a little on a number of songs. The band are going in the right direction, and if this album is anything to go by, the next should be even more brilliant.
