It is so nice to report the Ian Broudie is back with a body of music that reflects his present state without losing the character of his pas pop perfection.
Granted this is a more mellow and reflective album and even the up tempo and rockier last track 'I still feel the same' has that quality but is one of the high points of the album.
Ther are more strings and even a pedal steel but that tight harmony is there and that inate sense of 'pop'.
A delight.
