Does anybody dislike Muse? Unless you're not hearing what I'm hearing Muse are spectacular. Matt, Chris and Dom are three amazing musicians and this is shown through every Muse album, but through Origin of Symmetry mainly. My favourite songs are 'Plug in Baby' and 'New Born'. It doesn't get much better than this!

This album is so good and so loud (mostly). The riffs are as brilliant as you'd expect and a great variety of styles from each song.
The central song on the album, 'Citizen Erased' is one of the best songs I've ever heard and switches from pounding drums, heavy bass and an electric guitar, Bellamy's soaring vocals, and suddenly collapses into silence and calm singing, gentle piano playing...and then bursts into a thundering crescending chorus of battering drums, even heavier bass and electric guitars and impassioned singing before the tragic sounding finale.
The first seven songs are all classics' in my opinion with some, 'Micro Cuts' and 'New Born' verging on the psychotic, but sound oh so liberating. 'Space Dementia' is a heavy space rock opera with only a piano being used, and as strange as the song sounds it's immense.
The last four songs seem a bit tame to the others but this is a really brilliant album nonetheless.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars A truly epic album, Muse's best

This album is, quite frankly, brilliant.

Another brilliant opening track with "New Born", moving on through the epic sound of Muse at their best, before reaching the mind blowing Plug In Baby, then straight onto the thrilling Citizen Erased.

It does not have as many stand out songs as Black Holes and Revelations or Absolution, just many songs brought together to create something truly special. This album is worth far more than the £4.99 price tag, it's an instant classic.

this for me is muse at their best i cant say which songs stand out for me in this album because they are all truely sublime. if you are only to have 1 muse cd in your cd collection make this be it. it truely is a modern day classic. this is matt bellemy at his bestt.
however absolution comes a close second to this album.
you must have this album in your life it wil be one of the best you own

I never payed much atention to this band in the past, mainly because i wasnt sure what kind of music i was into, it was only until after i heard and bought Black Holes and Revelations that i searched for Muse' back catalogue of albums and at this price i am impressed. I love this Album it's not their best, i think Black Holes and Revelations beats it hands down, it beats every other album in the world today. But some of the songs on this are the most beautiful i have ever heard. My favourite songs from this are:

New Born: Over 6 minutes! What an opener to an album, its a masterpiece of piano chimes and guitars, you can really appreciate matthew bellamy's voice in this song.

Bliss: Another beautiful song which opens with piano like effect and the the guitars kick in. The lyrics are great and the song is great all the way through.

Space Dimentia: Again starts with some awesome piano playing, this song is famous for being on a perfume advert and fits it very well.

Plug In Baby: Best song on the album, i mean i dont need to explain the riffs and solo in this song because it's so well known and it's brilliant and if you don't know it then shame on you!

Citizen Erased: I love this song because of the different parts to it, it starts off very loud and then goes quiet, and of course theres a solo which is excellent and finishes to a slow verse which is beautiful and brings a tear to my eye everytime.

Feeling Good: Come on now everyone has gotta know this, many people have sung it, Nina Simone being one of them. Muse however add the electric guitar element to it making it sound so fantastic. Brilliant!

The rest of the songs on the album are brilliant but these are the standout tracks for me. The second Album of Muse is an absolute must buy for anyone! Do get it!

Now Muse diehards didn't fancy Black Holes and Revelations too much as it was a divergence from the Muse eclectric roots - and this album is a prime example of their potential which elevated them to the podium.

A wonderful album full of texture and craft and is best heard in one go from New born to Megalomania - unlike Blach Holes where you can dip in and out with out too much trouble.

No blockbusters in here like Knights of Cydonia, just a moving musical experience of these great artists

This album is simply fantastic. Bliss, Hyper Music, Space Dementia & Plug in Baby all represent the musical talent of Muse. This is an essential album. But it now!

apart from screenager (which is the only muse song i dislike) every song on this record is blinding. from the opening keys of new born to the last beat of megalomania this album pleases the ears in almost conceivable way, incredible lyrics, demonic guitar riffs and an undoubtable display of vocal aerobics by a man who i consider to be the single most talented individual in music. it also has what many people consider muse's best song in citizen erased... a must buy
