Fantastic album. Loved most of the songs straight away, couple take a couple of times but then you are addicted. Loved Diana on x-factor, but with her original voice, i always believed she would make it! And also a crackin' name for the album - Love it. A++++

Excellent! ...

I bought this album on the recommendation of the reviews, the album cover promises an interesting album, but I just felt that each song just ran into the next. It just never seems to get going, just a stream of drivel. This album just did not do it for me at all. Sorry.....

 Surprisingly Good!

To be honest, when i heard Diana Vickers was making an album, I wrote her off and expected her album to flop.
Then she released Once. I was pleasantly surprised as its catchy and shows shes more then the girl off X Factor.
I saw her supporting Scouting for Girls on July 8th and didnt know what to expect, I liked her first song and only heard 'The Boy Who Murdered Love' once or twice. So when she sang live I was very excited. She sang with such passion and that is what made me buy this album.
The songs she sang were good and this album certainly proves that. It has the right mixture of upbeat pop songs, to more mellow tunes to satisfy everyone. Her voice is very beautiful and she has come along way, this really shows she has talent.
'You'll never get to heaven' is a personal favourite, however due to my personal taste I find that 'Chasing You' shouldnt have been put on here. Its just..boring. But other then that good. I havent gave her five stars as I thought it needed that extra something.. but nevertheless, very very good.

Diana = A Breath Of Fresh Air...

Diana Vickers has come along way since her X Factor days. For two years, I have been waiting for a release from Diana, and my it has definately been worth it! In a world where most artists look and sound the same, Diana is a breath of fresh air. Diana has taken her time with this album and even co-written most of it. The first single from the album "Once" is a catchy upbeat number with guitar riffs to kill for. It opens the album perfectly. In fact there isn't a bad song on this album, the catchy "Remake Me & You", "The Boy Who Murdered Love","You'll Never Get To Heaven" and "My Hip" are perfect for dancing to whilst "Four Leaf Clover", Put It Back Together", "Notice" and Chasing You" have flawless vocals on them. Definately something for everyone on this album. The best thing to come out of X Factor! She deserves every success!

 Good Debut

Bought this yesterday and haven't stopped playing it. The voice is unmistakable, and there are some great tracks here - in addition to 'Once' I particularly like 'The Boy Who Murdered Love' (the next single, surely?) and 'My Hip'. 'Jumping into Rivers' is also worth a mention because it's a real grower (in fact I heard this track being played in a shopping centre, and thought it had the uplifting feel of a lazy Summer's day, so I decided to check out the rest of the album). 'Four Leaf Clover' is probably the pick of the ballads, but they're all pretty good, with 'Chasing You' finishing the album on a high.

Well described as 'a collection of quirky songs', the album doesn't disappoint and seems to improve with each listen, keeping you entertained with a good mix of boppy electropop and slower atmospheric songs. Very pleasantly surprised - the cherry tree may be tainted but it's well worth a visit.

 Suprisingly good!

When Diana was on the X-Factor I loved her unique voice and quirkiness, however I was a bit shocked that she had brought out an album. I thankfully was proved wrong and I have listened to this album non-stop since it's release! My favourite songs are 'Notice', 'Once', 'Jumping Into Rivers' and 'Hit' The lowest point of the album is the song 'Chasing You' I find it bland and irritating. Overall, Diana has made an excellent first album and incredibly good songs!

 stunning!!!

You need to go out and buy this album now it's absolutely stunning! Diana Vickers shows that she is soo much more than an X factor contestant. Her voice is breathy controlled and beautiful and is just so relaxing to listen to. Every song on this album is amazing and Four Leaf Clover is utterly breathtaking... her vocals on this track are just beautiful.

Buy this album.. you will not be disappointed!!! This girl has real potential!!

 Stunning debut!

OK i admit i couldnt stand her when she was on the X-Factor, but this album just blew my socks off i love nearlly all the songs! Her voice doesn't grate its well controlled and beautiful, even the album cover seems like she wasnt even on the X-Factor. I like how she worked with Guy Sigsworth as he is a ace producer!! Some of the standout tracks for me are "Chasing You""The Boy WHo Murdered Love", "Once" "Remake Me & You" and " N.U.M.B". This is a brilliant debut album and you should buy it, it's definately worth the money!! :)

 Debut doesn't dissapoint

This album for me was much anticipated as I saw Diana as one of the stand out contestants on the X-factor. The album is full of good tracks and is very easy to listen to the whole way through without skipping anything. She is more polished with her voice than on the show which will make her more appealing to the masses. Top songs are once, jumping into rivers and my hip.

'really good 'first album' from this 'x-factor' -'song-bird'

this is a pretty good first album from 'diana vickers' who in truth i wanted to win the show instead of her runner-up spot.
just felt she had a natural-talent with 'very' commercial vocal ability, allways intended buying her album when released.
this is a little different from the type of material used on her 'x-factor' journey, confirming my thoughts when listenning to her back then .....'i think she'll be around for a while, most certainly if the material she records is maintained with the 'standard's' of this '13'-track effort.
great listenning material, worth adding to your 'CD' collection.
