As a long time fan of The Wildhearts, SilverGinger 5, Clam Abuse, Supershit 666 & Ginger I always look forward to a new release with a huge amount of excitement.

This is a CD that was sold at shows and is about the only Ginger CD I was missing.

So it's with a glee in my heart that I report this CD is absolutely blinding.

Anyone who's heard any of the previous live CD's will know that Ginger is an affable and entertaining frontman, engaging the audience with humour and sarcasm. Put Jon Poole next to him and you've got a recipe for delightful madness right there.

The song choice on this CD is sublime, reaching back to many overlooked treasures from Gingers long recording career (is there any other artist whose fans have been treated to such quality AND quantity over the years); highlights for me are the medley Pissjoy/Suckerpunch/Nurse Maxim and Re-Inventing The Wheel.

Add to this mixture some genius mentalist moments; TWO takes on the Spike MIlligan theme, a discussion on the merrits of Spandau Ballet's drummer and The Daftness (which has to be heard to be believed) and you have one of the most entertaining CD's I've heard since, well, the last acoustic CD from Ginger.
