One of the best thrash metal albums ever created.Along with Metallica ,Megadeth and Exodus, Slayer are one of the greatest (Thrash) Metal bands and this is their master piece. It's full of power, anger and ambition, and it is mind-blowing from start to finish. Not even one 'half-good'/'not bad' track, every single one is amazing and unique. If you liked Kill'em All,Bonded by Blood or Rust in Peace you'll definitely love this record.

Will always be one of the BIG 4

Top 100 Music Reviewer

Along with Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax, Slayer are the other band in the world famous big 4 of metal. The 4 bands can be seen on DVD in concert together and this album plays more like a best of. Not for the faint hearted, but an alum that sometimes appears in the Top 100 album lists of music mags other than just metal, which shows the cross over of thrash metal. Listen to Angel of Death on a quality hifi and you'll be hooked and looking to check out other thrash/metal albums

THE greatest thrash album of all time.

There's not much else to say really, this album is over in 28 minutes after hitting play, but they will be the most intense 28 minutes you ears will ever endorse.

Every track on this album is what old school thrash is about, blistering fast guitar riffs, manic blast beats, face melting solos and even a few epic screams for good measure, before reaching it's landmark conclusion.

I listen to all kinds of music, but metal is always where my heart will be, and even though it's been well over 20 years since this masterpiece was released, I still haven't heard a thrash album of this level. Sure, some have cut it close (Machine Head's 'The Blackening' for one), but Slayer still reign supreme.

This album is arguably the greatest thrash album of all time. If your new to thrash buy this album you wont regret it. If your a hard core thrash fan then.......... you will already have this in your collection, if not shame on you. I would also recommend Slayer South of Heaven & Christ Illusion,
