I'm not very good with words but I do know what I like and this I like. She has a very good voice I would say mature in sound. I think this is a great CD. Just buy you will not be disappointed - trust me you will be pleased you did.

 Bowled Over

I first heard of Florence Rawlings on the Ken Bruce show on Radio 2 when he played the track Love Can Be A Batttlefield and as soon as it was finished I had to look up Florence on Google. On her home site there were four other tracks to listen to and I also read her biography page before instantly deciding I had to have this album. For a young girl her voice has such unbelievable depth and quality I was bowled over. It doesn't happen very often but when it does you know you have discovered something amazing and I can't wait for the album to arrive. This is real music and real talent which is such a welcome change from a lot of the current empty noise which passes for music, also Mike Batt, who discovered Florence's talent when she was just thirteen, ensured she finished her education and gained a little more maturity so that she was more able to deal with the pressures of a life in showbusiness than a thirteen year old child would be. I shall listen out for more of her tracks on the radio and know that when the album A Fool in Love arrives next month it will be played so much it will soon become a firm favourite.
