Bridging the gaps between catchy riff laden metal with the virtuoso shredding of neo classical and melodic death styles effortlessly with amazing guitar work and song writing, Anterior are one of the most exciting new bands today. Their debut is without a weak track, each one a metal anthem in it's own right. The influences are there and can be heard in the music, but 'This Age of Silence' is very much Anterior's own. Some may describe it as metalcore, but that would be slightly misguided as the sheer wall of melodic guitar work that hits you during each track means that this is something far more special than just another trendy 'core band. There's far more in common with bands like Norther, Arch Enemy and other Scandanavian / Finnish metal along with old school Metallica etc. But it now.....PAL!
