One way or another Susan Boyle has had a bit of a rough time since she found fame. But there's no getting away from the fact that the lady can sing and if Wild Horses is anything to go by, the album should be worth a listen.
Lets put this into perspective shall we. Susan Boyle is a great singer of that there is no doubt but the problem is that this album is too safe. There is no originality here, there is nothing new and exciting and the only reason it is so popular is because of the huge marketing machine she has behind her. I wish Susan Boyle all the luck in the world just as i would any person trying to live their dream but i can't see her lasting unless she starts coming up with some original material. For me this album was always going to impress the weak minded and easily impressed people of the world who can only make an opinion based on what the media tells them which is probably most people. So with that in mind you will probably like it no matter what i say. Peace.
I bought this as a Christmas Present for a friend and had a sneeky listen before wrapping. Amazing is all I can say. I have had to order another copy as I have kept the original copy for myself.
Compared to other singers like her she is average. The media make this album sell.
This album is absolutely breathtaking. Susan's voice brings a lump to your throat, tears to your eyes. How proud she must be.
