This is by far Bryan Ferry's best album to date. When I saw that he had covered Traffic's "No face, no name no number" John Lennon's" Whatever gets you thru' the night" and Elvis's " One night" I thought I must get this album. I was not disappointed. If you can listen to samples online then do. You will not be disappointed either. This man is so cool. Who else has had so many beautiful women pose in various states of undress for so many album sleeves. Bryan Ferry is the modern version of Mr. cool Dean Martin
Although Bryan can be masterfull when covering his favourite songs nothing turns me on like his own work , so i was really chuffed when he released this album(Frantic seems such a long time ago)and i haven`t been disappointed--the more i hear this the more i want to hear it(I must be driving my neighbours nuts!) As seems to be the norm from a true master of his craft-- a beautiful sound and needless to say ,as classy as ever!!
Bryan ferry is the smoodest guy ever!
Shameless song is top of the bill. Every song has different layers, everytime u listen, u will hear something new.
This is a superb album. Heartache by numbers is a definite single, in fact theres not a bad track on it. Close your eyes and go back 20 years
This album seems to demonstrate close links with 'Boys And Girls', and provides the listener with all the key components of a sultry, sophisticated experience. Bryan Ferry at his very best !
