This is a stunning collection of songs, by two of the most fantastic voices you will ever hear. If you like well crafted love and life story songs this is for you, stunning guitar and great melodies....i absolutely love it..................

I first heard The Civil Wars on the Huger Games song Safe and Sound with Taylor Swift. I'm not a fan of Swift, but loved the song mainly due to the Civil Wars. Therefore, I bought the album , mainly expecting a 'Barton Hollow'-ish theme running through it all.

However, it was much more calm than the punchy title track, not a bad thing considering the masterful production in the album. It thrives on the quiet strum's and brilliant harmonics created by the two voices combined. I loved the simplicity of it all.

All I have to say is get this album for an interesting, extragavant yet subtle journey. Standout tracks are 'Barton Hollow' 'Bille Jean' 'Falling' '20 Years' and 'Posion and Wine'. (Btw, their live performance's are identical to the studio albums)

 Brill !!

Heard them sing Billie Jean on Dermot o'Leary album checked out Barton Hollow and they are fantastic. Great harmonies and they just seem to enjoy playing live so much. There touring now go see them
