As other reviewers have said, you wont love every track at first, but they all grow on you. Around The World & Da Funk are classics which take me back everytime i hear them. If you like the album check out the D.A.F.T DVD to see all the music videos and a live performance of Rollin & Scratchin. 5 Stars!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars slightly less than brilliant!

well just abit of an addition to the previous review. must agree that this album has a good few poorer tracks on it but .. BUT .. the good tracks are great! verging on immense! from daftendirekt through to phoenix you wont stop bouncing rockin dancing moshing and smiling! the other stand out tracks for me are Rollin' & Scratchin' and Burnin'! the rest are growers and an accuired taste! but .. as was the trend at the time .. its hard, repetitive beats make it just a joy to listen to! i think its there best work and along with the chemical brothers exit planet dust .. brings back memories everytime i hear it :)

The French duo's first album centres around a street/urban theme. Brilliant floor-filling, on-your-feet music is a trademark of Daft Punk. Not all the tracks are classics but the majority are bound to please you, whether your a fan of dance or not. I recomend strongly you look at "Discovery" by Daft Punk as it is probibly the best album or this decade.
