The Minds have never sounded better! This rocks!

I can't speak highly enough of this record it is simply stunning, if you're a fan of cool sounding rock music you'll love it. The Minds were stripped down to a duo by this point but they recruited a huge array of musical talent for this album. Singer Jim Kerr's voice has never sounded better and Charlie Burchill is all over it with catchy guitar licks/riffs. I remember hearing She's A River on the radio when it was released and thinking "wow". Hypnotised is one of the Minds best tunes but too me there isn't a song i dislike on the album, which i couldn't say about Real Life or Street Fighting Years. The keyboards take a back seat as Charlie lets rips on guitar and Kerr's voice soars. And The Band Played On and Criminal World see the Minds bring a new freshness that's been missing on previous releases.
