What could possibly be the best Mission album ever and one of the best albums of 2007. I can only echo the previous reviewers appraisal - this is an album that stands head and shoulders - don't be put off by the supposed "goth" image this band has, this is an album to be reckoned with regardless of your tastes. There are no filler tracks here with every song being finely crafter - kudos to the production of this too, keeping the end result pure and perfect.
Forget the Classic Rock review.

After the promise shown on their last studio album "Aura" The Mission return after six long years with a corker. For those of you that like me read the Classic Rock review with a heavy heart fear not, given repeated plays "God is a Bullet" will reward the listener with more each time.
Wayne Hussey the bands mainstay has acheived a clever trick in managing to keep the classic Mission sound, Belladonna & Absolution, whilst bringing in new elements into his writing which give the album a modern edge, Blush & Keep it in the Family highlight this very well.
For any Mission fan willing to give this album the time it deserves you will not regret it, there are so many highlights to enjoy Still Deep Waters, Groteque being just two. God is a Bullet is a major step forward in bringing The Mission into the present day without compromising the bands legacy, Wayne Hussey and co have an awful lot to be proud of and it comes highly recommended.
