The best album released by The Ataris, beating End is Forever by a mile.

A must buy for any Ataris fan and to any music fan in general. If you like Doves you'll love this album.

Jon.

This review refers to Welcome The Night (CD version).

It's a bit sad that frontman Kris kicked out the rest of the band mates to do what he wants to do with the band...but at least the music doesn't suffer...

Think the Cure mixed with Explosions in the Sky mixed with classic Ataris...

The sounds a bit darker, the songs are longer, some are heavier..but overall - a cracking album...
