'Second, Minute or Hour' - I cannot believe hardly anyone has heard it; for me it's song of the year. It is original, fast, catchy, lyrically superb, vocally brilliant; no matter what genré of music you're into you should like this song.
The rest of the album is good too, sure to grow on you the more you listen to it.
But for that song alone it should be bought
Good, but I can see myself tiring of it

This is a very good albulm, very catchy tunes and good lyrics! The one thing I will say is I feel it is one of those cd's you enjoy but then you hit the wall with, but dont let that take away from what is fundamentally a good albulm.
great album, loves it

I have seen Jack Penate twice now and one of them was in the tent at Glastonbury and it was one of my personal highlights! I never tire of listening to his catchy songs and this album is never far away from my cd player
Worth the wait.

I too saw Jack Penate at Glastonbury via the tv and was eager to get hold of his album. Took a while for it to be released but it was worth the wait. It is well produced, has clever lyrics and great tunes. Splendid indeed!!!
Had Good Potential.

This album had the potential to be amazing. Jack's a great live performer, and it's his eccentric, energetic songs that highlight the album. 'Spit at Stars', 'Second, Minute, or Hour' and 'Torn on the Platform' are all instant anthems. Catchy and exciting, you can see why these were released as singles. However, unfortunately the rest of this album isn't of the same high standard. Tracks seem repetitive and samey, with the tedious 'When We Die' making me feel a 'lil bit sick.
It's a shame. Maybe he'll do better next time.
Waited for ages

Saw Jack on Glatonbury tv coverage and thought yes, something different. Checked youtube and have been waiting for album ever since. It's great- spit at styars has obviously been enhanced- not for the better, but everything else is perfect
As good as i hoped

I saw him play live at Bristol and he was amazing, the show was injected with a level punk and hyperactivity that you couldn't help but dance along to. After hearing pretty much the whole album live and then hearing it on record all I can say is that it does not disappoint, infact the album goes from strength to strength, with Spit At Stars, Torn On The Platform and Second, Minute Or Hour standing out as the best tracks. This man really is destined for great things
Awesome

This guy is so talented. His album is outstanding and he is one of the best acts I've seen live, despite what others have said. His energy is amazing and the soul he puts into his music really stands out. Best track has to be Spit at Stars, closely followed by Second Minute or Hour. Have to say that Jack Penate is top notch.
