The reason for my title is because you cannot compare these two, its like comparing a plank of wood to cheese, its completely irrational and you just wouldn't do it,
Adele is fantastic, i've heard 4 of her songs on her Myspace page and they are all brimming with talent
2008 is destined to be an amazing year for Adele, i wish her all the best

Im tired of people comparing Adele to Winehouse
    Adele is much better
and not so much of a drinker
she is way more down to earth and an amazing person to know
her music reflects experiences personal to her
not just music her label think people want to hear and be mass marketed

     Mixed Feelings

Adele's debut album isn't anything mind-blowing, but it's not one of the worst albums you'll listen to either. Out of the twelve tracks, there are six which I can see myself listening to often and the remaining six I can see myself totally forgetting about, hence why I have mixed feelings about this album.

There are five stand-out tracks on the album; Chasing Pavements, Cold Shoulder, Make You Feel My Love, Right As Rain and Hometown Glory. Some of the tracks are very boring and forgettable IMO.

My main criticism with this album is that the majority of the songs have the same sound and "feeling" to them. Overall, this is not an essential album, but it's worth checking out.

     A 'must have' album

Brilliant voice, top tunes. Her sessions with Paul Weller were something else too. Should be in everyone's collection.
