this is probably the best album of the year so far
every tune is a quality song, all written really nicely
the lyrics are a bit.... but the excellent melody makes up for it
this has been in my car for weeks
top tunes: bryn, oxford comma, campus

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars A good mellow rock album but not great my friends!

Vampire Weekend have produced a good debut album and they deserve their chart success that they are having. Vampire Weekend have got their own sound which is always nice to hear and write some pretty good songs such as Mansard Roof, Oxford and M79 being my favourites. When they release their second album their tunes and lyrics should improve, so hopefully we will be looking at a 4star or higher album then. Razorlight are a good example of this when you compare their 1st album to their 2nd big improvement between the two. Anyway Vampire Weekend is a good first effort and I look forward to seeing them live at the Eden Project as they are the backing band for the Raconteurs.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Not As Expected

I bought this as I thought it was somthing else. Listened it through a couple of times and it's great.

The person that said it's Paul Simon combined with the Strokes hit the nail on the head. Great act, if slightly odd!
