If you like Hendrix, you will love Seasick Steve!
His music is quiet and at the same time powerful.
My favourite track is 'Cut my Wings'...
This music is purely for chilling out.

I was lucky enough to be working the security at one of his tiny gigs before the big man became famous, got a few drinks with him, only white guy to sound cool calling people "dawg". Legend then and only getting better! His sound is awesome as is this album... Buy it!

     Genius!

An amazing album. Like many others Jools Holland show introduced me and I was hooked!

The guy is a genius, to generate so much noise from so little takes talent.

I love blues music and agree he is right up there with the best.

My fave track is "Dog house boogie". Really is a must have album for blues fans. Can also recommend "Cheap" album, loads of catchy tunes there too and the Level Devils back up Steve beautifully. "Hobo Blues" is awesome.

New album in September and see him in concert October, can't wait!!!!

     proper legend

nevermind just this album, buy everything the guy has ever released.

I had the pleasure of seeing Seasick at Pilton Party, back in Spetember or something, 2007. If anyone gets the chance, take it, he sounds amazing. And always has some brilliant stories to tell between tracks!!

This has got to be without doubt one of the best blues musicians I've heard in a long time! Having heard him on Jools Hollands Hootanny for the last 2 years and been blown away on both occasions I simply had to have this album!!
For me he is on equal footing with other blues legends such as John Lee Hooker and the sound he makes with that 3 string electric guitar is out of this world !! If you ever choose to buy a blues album BUY THIS ONE - its a must have for this collection.
