This review refers to
Infinity Land (CD version).
no word of a lie, out of all of my 300+ cd collection, this is my favourite. Every song has totally changed my perception on music. even the short "There's No Such Man As Crasp". It starts off with possibly the greatest album opener, "Glitter and Trauma", and carries on delivering through the entire album. the songs also have a tendency to change key about 6 times before the song is over. you could argue it's more experimental than their previous studio effort "The Vertigo of Bliss". whether that is for certain, i'll leave it up to you, but it certainly is a darker album. A lot heavier, and there's some very dark undertones delivered. anyway, like i said, it is my favourite album of all time, and i recommend it to any Biffy fans, or anyone who likes their music on the strange side. before i finish the review however, don't expect it to be like their latest album, "Puzzle", which is a lot more radio-friendly.
