This was my first Dimmu Borgir CD and still to date is my favourite, it really is a brilliant example of black metal. The songs are all written with great complexity and intensity which really is amazing to hear. There is never really a dull moment in this CD, the opening track like many Black Metal bands is an orchestral style, almost classical music piece..but it leads in perfectly to the second track which will just blow your brains with the immediate intensity and explosion of sound.
This is a must own CD for any Black Metal fan, a guaranteed CD for life.
