This review refers to
Good To Be Bad.
From the grinding riff of 'Best Years' to the Gaelic feel of 'Til the End of Time', this is an astonishing return to form from a band that never ceases to surprise and amaze! By now, many people will be familiar with the epic power ballad 'Lay Down Your Love' and this is no bad thing, as this is pretty much representative of the majority of this album. Blistering guitar solos, a colossal wall of sound, imaginitive drumming and rock solid bass, all topped off with Mr Coverdale's distinctive vocal talents and tongue in cheek lyrics. This will surely stand as one of Whitesnake's better albums and, as such, I have no hesitation in giving it a well deserved 5 stars!
