This review refers to Prodigal Son (CD version).

Martin Simpson is receiving long deserved acclaim for his latest album Prodigal Son, in which he displays his virtuosity on both the guitar and banjo in a selection of traditional and new songs and instrumental numbers, including the poignantly beautiful tribute to his father Never Any Good. This album is a must have for any one who enjoys acoustic guitar music.
