overall this album is OK, there are some great moments, but its not very memorable. i wouldnt say it's more commerical as such, but The Music have gone for a much bigger stadium filling kind of sound comapred to their debut which was big in a dancefloor filling kind of way.
the opening title track is excellent and follows a similar formula to that of many of the highlights on their debut. Freedom Fighters is a brilliant slab of meaty rock-dance crossover
elsewhere on the album, the quality varies. Breakin' is a mess, Fight The Feeling is a waily pointless track while Cessation, despite all its pomp and oomph, sounds strangely hollow and One Way In, No Way Out is halfway to being a great track. theres power in it, but it sounds like you've heard it all before and they sound like a stadium band who cant quite put on a stadium show. I Need Love is much better however, taking their debut album's template and adding a sense of frantic urgency to it while Bleed From Within… more »

I Need Love is much better however, taking their debut album's template and adding a sense of frantic urgency to it while Bleed From Within offers hope that The Music might actually be able to take their trade from the indie disco dancefloors into stadiums (or at leats an arena).
this album is by no means a disgrace. its definately a missed oppotunity and is inconsistant, but there are some great moments on it, but their debut is much better.
