With the single "Stolen" I really had great expectations of the first album but found it fell short of the mark. A phenomenal surprise, "My Own Way" is beautifully written, his voice evocative and sincere. He shows amazing vocal range in a playful almost flirty nature which blends brilliantly with the more heart-wrenching themes in masterful juxtaposition.I bought it on the strength of "Maybe" and I have not looked back; its a tremendous listen. Ultimately the record resonates and is easily superior to his previous effort. BUY IT.

     love it!!

Jay Sean with this album is quite clearly the face of Brittish R&B. Every track is hard to skip with meaningful, catchy lyrics and modern beats.
