This album is beautiful. I went to see her twice this year, and the first time i didn't really know too much about this album, but enjoyed the gig anyway. But then i got the album, listened to it over and over, and saw her again in October. She is amazing, I got in to her first from her garage tune years ago, then was re-introduced to her when i saw breathe me on six feet under. Now i have all her albums, she is such a talent and i truly am suprised she is not so mainstream, her voice is outstanding, and live, she is amazing.

I bought this album after seeing her performance on Later with Jools Holland. She is an unbelievable talent, and this must be the best album of 2008.
With most albums there are one or two weaker tracks, but every track on this album is quality, and there is even a secret song (Buttons) at the end.
If you buy one album this year make it this one.

I bought this album all because of a 20 sec commercial for Lindex with the song Electric bird. I searched some web pages and found out who the singer was. But this is not the only song which is incredible in this album. What a voice this woman have. So beautiful, strong and full of emotion.
Little black sandals, The Girl You Lost To Cocaine and Electric bird is my favourites at this time.
Pop at its best. (With a soulful voice.)
