I just want to add this is a great selection of classic Rod & Faces songs, won't go into each one because already been well covered, the only grumble I have is would of liked to see 'An old raincoat won't ever let you down' included on CD, but can't have it all, perhaps they will do a Vol 2 to cash in.
It would be nice if Rod could do more of the earlier style rather than his recent MOR Radio 2 covers, although it was a well sung and produded CD. One of many I suspect.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars excellent compilation

This collection of songs reminds us of how good Rod Stewart really was . Rod, before you hang up the microphone leave the recent crap behind ,get out of your comfort zone and go and record some decent songs again .Maybe even write some .Give the best voice in the business the material it deserves.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars We are use to Perfection

This review refers to The Seventies Collection.

This album will neither surprise nor dissapoint you. Rod Stewart (C.B.E you know!) has put together another great album of his most listened to tracks. A delicate introduction to this Rock Legend will have you humming well into the night. An ideal fathers day present. Or, just a fantastic easy going, not too complicated gatherhing of possibly the most recognised voice in music . Let the neighbours know that you are home and Rockin.
