What is happening on this CD? Is it genius? Or is it a false dawn and the case of the Emperors New Clothes scenario as one reviewer has claimed. I am in the genius camp. If they can create this wonderful album with the help of friends and family and over a period of time when money and time would allow. Then what will they do when they turn proffessional? It's everything I love, great lyrics, great melody and great harmonies. I can hear all my heroes and more. CSNY, The Beach Boys, The Moody Blues, The Beatles, Travis. They are all there. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

     Must Buy Album

This is great cd from the up and coming Fleet foxes. The sound they create is razor shy but the music is a powerhouse .the cd is a blend of folk and gospel and major influence can be felt through the cd ,like neil young and crosby, stills and nash. This cd at 6.49 is a bargain of the century

     Very consistent album

A wonderful atmostphere on this record, lots of great harmonies and melodies. One of the only albums from the last couple of years I have heard (along with In Rainbows) which is actually worth something, that is significant and I will be listening to for years to come. Simply a great album. Folky might imply a stripped down sound but in many ways that is not true for this band's music.

Truly Original and Brilliant Band Wonderful Vocals

I saw this band at the Massive Attack Meltdown at Southbank the other night supporting Elbow. Their vocals are beyond compare and they blew the audience away with the beauty of the voices and lyrics mixed with passionate music and dry humour. A must buy for this summer and if you know whats good for you try and see them in a small venue before they get to big!!!!! This CD hopefully will be as good as thier live performance and I am ready to buy the next one they bring out too.
