Recorded back in the glory days when the UK had a strong rock scene that echoed the US grunge explosion of the early nineties (i.e. when music was good), this is a blinding slab of melodic riff rock. Completely underrated, the band split up when dropped by their record label due to poor sales. They have reformed to play a few gigs in the last few years; a full on reformation would be fantastic news. If Foo Fighters produced an album like this, it would receive great reviews and sell millions. Plenty of catchy choruses, surrounded by monster guitar riffs (check out the Helmet like title song!). Spot on production by Garth Richardson too.
