Well, this is my first Take That purchase and I have to say I'm pleasantly, nay, delightedly surprised. I'm a 36 year old guy who like many other blokes groaned about Take That back in the day. Age has obviously matured them but musically is where the real growth has taken place. Long gone is the insipid nonsense of Babe - replaced by proper ballads like What Is Love. Highlights for me are How Did It Come To This and Mark Owen's anthemic Hold Up A Light which come tour time I'm pretty confident will be in huge demand to be played. I liked parts of their last album but the diversity and range of this one makes it a far better record. Long time fans may balk at the dark themes and alternative sounds but for a listener like me not greatly keen on their 90's sound this comes as a welcome change. Well done lads.

This whole album is a great disapointment, i loved beautifull world, it really won me over. And i was on line for my concert tickets last month first thing. But this fails on every level. The songs are at best average with a couple really quite poor, but it is the singing, its dreadfull even gary seems to struggle keeping in tune or on note. I listened to it in my car and at home for 2 days solid and i have not came close to liking any song, so i shall be giving it away

I buy albums alot, for example; Westlife, Green Day, Muse, The Killers. I found that this album was the best album I have ever bought. I love Take That and there tour was also amazing, ALSO buy the DVD if you havn't already. I garentee when you hear this, you will want to keep playing it over and over again. My favourites are:
*Greatest Day
*Up All Night
*Hold Up A Light
*Here

First off im a 25 year old bloke and im not ashamed to say i love take thats music...now on to the album, probably the only album ive ever listened to over and over and still its in my cd player.ill get slated for this but songs like julie,up all night and what is love have a real beattles sound to them.unlike beautiful world which was also brilliant i feel there are 6 or 7 potential singles they could release off the circus, obviously greatest day, hello, how did it come to this, said it all, up all night, julie hold up a light and maybe the garden.i really cant recommend this highly enough and as for the bad reviews i really cant understand where there coming from?!sensational album

I wasn't going to but TT latest offering, but after seeing it at a bargain price i thought i would give it ago, and i haven't been dissapointed! It contains the hit number one single "Greatest Day" Which i have to admit i'm not a fan of; which worried me a litte as the first track sounded very simmilar in tone and style. However the rest of the album has a completely varied feel; from the wonders of the upbeat "Up all Night" and "Hello" to the beautiful lyrics of "Said it All" and "What is Love." There are no truly awful tracks on the album, and the highlight of the album for me would probably have to be "Hello" for the simple fact after one listen it will stick in your head and you will be humming it for days after!
All in all, whether a christmas present for a loved one or yourself, i don't think you will be dissapointed!
