basically these guys have quietly been making some of the best electronic music for the last ten years. Minimal, rhythm focused tracks that gently bend your head like the best of autechre. throw in a dose of jeff mills and thomas brinkman and you get a rough idea, but SND can lay the rare claim to being in the few clatter of electronic acts that have an instantly recognizable and distinct sound. great stuff.
