I first heard this track on the radio about a month ago and was intrigued to know who it was by. I heard all these musical influences like En Vogue, TLC, Motown and dare I say it, the Spice Girls rolled into one, but with a totally up-to-date vibe. I just knew this was going to be a hit, and after seeing the video with their cheeky unique look, it was just a case of watching the song move up the charts with a knowing smile. Originally the song was released as F**K Me and was it was fairly obvious why it wasn't going to get much airplay, and as a dj I certainly wouldn't be playing that version at too many of my gigs. But "Love Me' has retained it's cheekiness without shocking granny, who in fact would actually appreciate the tight harmonies of these 3 girls. Because once you get past the novelty aspect of this song, you actually realise these girls really can sing. If you don't believe me check out their acoustic version of Emeli Sande's "Daddy" on YouTube.

If you like "Love Me" then check out their other single "Betty Woz Gone". If they continue to crank out great tunes like this, then I'm sure we'll be hearing a great deal more from Stooshe in the next few months.
