the 1976 concert is the best live dvd performance i have seen. this is the *essential* gallagher dvd. it contains the awesome 76 concert, filmed in a small studio; the 77 concert, marred slightly by moustached germans talking over some cracking playing, but otherwise a very very good gig and the 1979 jam session containing just three songs.
it was seeing the 76 gig that, for me, cemented gallagher's reputation as the greatest white blues guitar player
