The Who: Amazing Journey - The Story Of The Who - Collectors Edition (2 Discs)

the official story dvd is a great addition to any Who collection and the High Numbers performance is great. Whats disappointing about this set though is that the "book" is only a booklet of 11 pages, not what i'd call a book. Its also pretty much a run through of the dvd contents.Not worth the extra money. To be honest youre better off just buying the standard 2 disc dvd.

For Who fans this is excellent, great story of the band and brilliant interviews as well as clips never seen before.. I thought I couldnt fault this great package until I saw the "BOOK".. well.. its basically a 12 page leaflet, giving a brief outline on what is on both of the DVDs. Its a bit of a rip of charging £3 extra for this.

As the other reviewer as rightly said, get the normal edition for £3 cheaper.

Hence why it loses 1 star, ripping off the fans, not good..

if i could give this ten stars i would it is a great insight into one of the greatest rock n roll bands britains ever produced.if you are a fan of the who or even just starting to listen then this is simply unmissable.superb.

Supurb dvd of up to date interveiws,classic footage,great stories and Nostalgia.It basically covers there whole career,from the beginnings to Entwhistles death to the comeback all in one nice neat package"supurb dvd cover too.

As with the other two reviews about the booklet,enough said. Great footage and info on the band. A must for any Who fan, fills in some gaps still left by "The kids are Alright" and "30 years maximum r n b" . For me I wanted a bit more footage from the 70's (the era I got into The Who)hence only 4 stars . Brilliant stuff tho.
