Have been itching to get my hands on this, ever since the announcement of it's release. The DVD pulls together a superlative collection of Bobs' songs from his various bands (Husker Du/Sugar) and solo guises and doesn't disappoint. I was initially worried by the presence of a full-time keyboard player (Richard Morel), that it would soften Moulds' full-on guitar sound, but the synth work is subtly done and doesn't detract from the fantastically tight
band sound. The live recording (particularly the drums + Bobs' guitar) are excellent and the sheer adrenaline rush of songs like I Apologise and Chartered Trips seem to make your heart beat faster. The only minor detraction (and it is really minor), is the band lighting could have been a bit brighter in places, as on some of the songs, the stage is shrouded a bit too much in darkness - otherwise, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Genius!
