Daft Punk's Electroma is the eagerly anticipated directorial Feature Film debut from Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, better known together as Daft Punk. A psychedelic visual and musical odyssey, Electroma follows the journey of two robots on their quest to become human. Featuring a stunning soundtrack with music from Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, Curtis Mayfair, Sebastien Tellier and Chopin, Electroma plays out beautifully 'like music for the eyes'.

Daft Punk fans everywhere have been waiting to see what would happen if these legendary French electro-dance pioneers were let loose with a camera and this hypnotic road movie cum sci-fi tale doesn't disappoint. Rumour has it that if you play Daft Punk's last album 'Human After All', alongside Electroma the two sync-up perfectly. With the imminent DVD release, fans won't have to wait much longer before testing the theory for themselves!

Already a huge hit with theatrical audiences across the UK & Ireland, Electroma has enjoyed a sell-out screening tour with cinemas reporting record pre-sales. Appealing to Daft Punk fans, Sci-fi heads and film enthusiasts alike, this special UK Only Limited Edition Deluxe DVD & Full Colour 44 Picture Book is a must have for any collection.

As my title suggests, the film is defiantly a feast for the eyes, the story line is very simple, but the scenes and the beauty of the film keeps the eyes, if you are one of those people who loves complicated story lines forget it, the same goes for if your only the there for the novelty of daft punk they don't play any of there music.
Overall I think the film is amazing, sure the story could use a bit of a tweak, the camera scenes and angles are great to say the least, the ending is a bit of a tear-jerker and one of the most amazing ending I have ever scene, and after a stressful day, i find it to be very relaxing, thanks for reading my review of Electroma.

i had the pleasure of seeing this at the cinema du pantheon in paris back in june, shortly after seeing daft punk live at bercy (which was absolutely out of this world). this is art cinema at is rawest, i've often wondered what these 2 genius, pioneering, electronic musicians would do with film, and this is it. a simple yet effective story about 2 robots (their musical/stage alter egos) on a journey both physically and mentally. their search for something more is deep and meaningful, yet with no speech (or stranger still), no music by daft punk themselves, this is a slow moving piece of film art. i'd recommend anyone with an interst in art film and/or daft punk to at least see this film. i loved it as i love their music.

 Movie makers after all.

I really like this film, not much happens, but its cool as. Great music, even if it isn't by Daft Punk.

Don't like the suggestion that their last album could sync up to this movie, anyone who's seen the film will know this is utter rubbish. I feel sorry for anyone buying it under the hope that they'll get some great visuals to go with a great album.

Visually stunning, amazing cinematography.
