Earl Scruggs and his band, including his sons, took to the road in search of musicians and music that could push his banjo picking styles into new directions. He tried rock and roll, classical, bluegrass, country and mountain music. This DVD was compiled from footage taken at The Grand Ole Opry, at the 1969 Vietnam War Moratorium in Washington D.C., and in private homes. The camera follows banjo maestro Earl Scruggs as he and his family travel and sing with music legends from both sides of a culture divide that only music could bridge. Enjoy memorable performances by popular music greats including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Roger McGuinn & The Byrds, Bill Monroe, Doc Watson and many more.
