When "Kylie - Showgirl; The Greatest Hits Tour", her sold out world tour, opened in Scotland in March 2005, it was her most ambitious show yet. The show itself was a triumph and represented Kylie's finest moments in music, performance and style and is an homage to the showgirl, one of the most exotic, decadent and sensual icons of our times. Inspiration came from the Moulin Rouge to the Folies Bergere, from the Doris Girls of the Paris Lido to the entertainment palaces of Las Vegas, from the underground burlesque bars of Soho to the Busby Berkeley musicals of the 1930s. Kylie's show pays tribute to the showgirl in all her forms and guises.

Although it was unfortunately cut short, there is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best shows ever by Kylie.
Highly charged and full of emotion,

Right well I went to see this concert and its the best one so far! From the start of Better The Devil You Know to the last Love At First Sight. You'll be singing along to your favourite Kylie tracks. Even some nice older Kylie songs that might have slipped though the fan net (In Denial). This DVD has everything a Kylie fan would want. Plus the men are rather hunky! lol, Can't wait until we get the DVD release of Showgirl Homecoming! Welcome back Kylie! You still reign supreme over all! :o) Can't wait till Doctor Who X-mas 2007 either!
