The 12.1" Eee Slate B121 features the power, security, and performance that professionals need to get more done. Equipped with an Intel® Core i5-470UM processor and a Windows®7 Professional operating system, the slate delivers the processing power and business productivity tools of a notebook PC in a portable tablet form factor.

Confidential data is protected with an onboard Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and the slate's Computrace®LoJack® (subscription required) is ready to protect your data in the event of theft. A bundled Bluetooth keyboard, an integrated Wacom® Digitizer stylus, and a multi-touch screen built with durable Corning® Gorilla® Glass provide users with multiple data input options.

Portable and Powerful
This slate features a full power dual core Intel Core i5 processor for a responsive multi-tasking performance, rare for tablets. Thanks to the ultra-low voltage Intel Core i5 processor, the slate is able to maintain a thin .67 profile and a lightweight, 2.56 lb form factor, allowing mobile professionals to get more done while on-the-go.

Easy Sharing
The B121 offers a 12.1" 1280 x 800 LED-backlit WXGA multi-touch display for users to create and consume rich content. The display is built with durable and scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass and is optically bonded, which delivers better outdoor readability. A 178 degree viewing angle permits easy sharing of content and presentations with colleagues, regardless of how users rotate or hold the device. Users can output content to a large external display to share presentations with colleagues via the slate's mini HDMI port. Additionally, the slate PC supports Adobe Flash 10.3, which allows professionals and students to view streaming videos and animation found on the web. Professionals can stay in contact by video conferencing with out of office colleagues or business partners located in other countries via the 2.0 Megapixel camera.

Multi-input
The Eee Slate offers users various input options, which include touch, stylus, or a bundled external Bluetooth keyboard. With the slate's responsive, multi-touch screen, users can collaborate on projects, and create and share presentations through touch. The slate's Wacom Digitizer stylus enables precise control and pressure recognition, which is ideal for professionals in the design field.

Enhanced Security
Professionals can rest assured that their valuable data is protected with the slate's Computrace LoJack (service sold separately) and Trusted Platform Module. Computrace LoJack helps safeguard valuable data by locating stolen PCs and locking and remotely deleting data in the event a user's notebook is stolen. It also features a dedicated Theft Recovery Team that works with local law enforcement to track and recover stolen notebooks. Trusted Platform Module safeguards confidential data by hardware encrypting data and files, authenticating and protecting passwords, offering network authentication, and protecting online communications and transactions.

Windows 7 Professional
The Eee Slate runs Windows 7 Professional, which lets users connect to company networks easily and securely with Domain Join. Users can work from anywhere because the operating system remembers preferred printers on each network, supports easy connections to a new wireless network, and offers presentation settings that can be easily turned on when needed. The operating system is also compatible with Windows XP programs to support older business applications. Advanced back up and restore options along with file encryption help users safeguard their work.
