 What a machine!

After my laptop started to struggle using AutoCAD and Sage software and then breaking completely, I decided to return to a desktop for dissertation work.
I chose this machine as it was the best value mid range spec machine I could find below 520 quid with windows.
Out of box and installing a few drivers this machine did what I wanted it to, no hang ups, hasn't crashed, silky smooth framerate on Civ 5 and Saints Row 3 both on ultra at 1080p and runs Sage, AutoCad, Excel and Firefox all at once without major slowdown.

On the down side, the case is cheap, real cheap. The front segments where additional optical drives and card readers can be installed fall out when case is knocked and one of the back plates above the graphics card is missing. Also processor and card run near 70C while playing games over an hour as there is only ONE case fan.

For those wondering about other component specs, power supply is a 750W CiT PSU, Gigabyte microATX mobo and a 1TB Western Digital WD1002FBYS (lowest score on Windows Experience Score).
Overall if you want to multitask graphically and processor intensive programs and run new games on high settings then this rig is for you.
