Well i received mine a few weeks ago and it seems verry good my main use is as a print server with a Canon IP5000 printer which works fully.
I have also tested it using a USB memory stick and a 1Gb file tranfered first from a direct USB socket on PC to my HD which took on average 1 Minute, then i sent the same file with the USB plugged into the Hub to the HD which took around 5 Minutes which works out about right as USB 2 is 480Mb/s and the Hub is 100Mb/s = roughly 5 times slower it would have been good to have had a Gigabyte network in the Hub but there you go. So all that equalled around about 3MB/s throughput. It's been very stable so far, so i'm pleased.

 No need for bad reviews!!!

I have only had this installed and being used for a day! This product is fantastic and i have no idea why it has bad reviews. My Belkin Vision Wireless Router has not had any problems neither has AVG Antivirus. I had no problems installing the software on either my Dell XPS 730 machine running windows vista. Nor had any problems installing on my new Macbook Pro. The other users obviously didnt read the description part when only one computer can connect to an item at once. Why moan this would be exactly the same as if it were directly plugged into your computer anyway..

Overall i have my printer/USB Western Digital Mybook 2 2tb attatched to this as well which i use for backup i also have another one attatched that i use if i want to do something on my mac so its easier to transfer files this was as well especially if they are large files.

You wont regret buying this. Dont be put off with the poor reviews. This is a fantastoic bit of kit and i have not had anyproblems at all..

Brilliant, any usb component can be networked! you can also plug another usb hub in and have more than 5 connections! I have this connected to Belkin N1 router and transfer speeds over wireless are not great and i have wireless N built in laptop! wired speeds are better but not great!.only 4 starts because i have had real problems with firewall with this (AVG)! I'm no newbie to networking or anything techy but the application claims it only uses port 19540 but it does not you have to enable port 80,443 and 19540. if you have windows managing your firewall you will have no problem.

 pretty poor

I have been trying to use this thing for a few months - printer and scanner work fine. Copying to a disk does not. Keeps dropping out and failing to copy. Belkin support is hopeless - twice they have promised to call me and have failed to do so. Avoid buying is my recommendation.

Avoid if you use AVG Internet Security

Works exactly like it should but warning !!! will not work with AVG - Eventually after hours of tinkering Uninstalled AVG and re-installed Macafee Internet Security - Worked Perfectly - Belkin and AVG No Help At All - Got refund on AVG product as it was under the 28 Days - Macafee Network protocol Recognised the hub immediatly and configured it automatically
